This is great!

I love it, so true, at least as true as it can be for a 1 year old!

Friday Five

Here is a picture of me on my graduation day with my friend Danielle who now lives in Equador.
1. Bullies, preps, stoners, geeks, jocks, drama queens, and more roamed the halls. Where did you fit in? Did your clique have a name? Well, since I went to such a small school, we really didn't have "clicks" per say, more just groups of friends.

2. Hot lunch or cold lunch? Cold, considering hot wasn't offered except on Fridays when they ordered a lot of food from Subway, Arby's, or places like that.
3. What did you wear to school? (Go ahead, date yourself here) jeans, t-shirt, sweatshirts, whatever.
4. What extra-curricular activities did you participate in? volleyball, basketball, swimming, and cheerleading
5. Who were your best friends? Do you still talk to any of them? Jamie, Bridget, and Adam, I only still talk to Adam.

Big Brother

Sooo, I don't know if anyone who reads this has been following Big Brother 8 on CBS, but I have, and this is the first season I have done so. It was actually a rather entertaining show for me to watch. I'm currently watching the finale. It seems everyone on the jury pretty much hates Dick and Daniele. I personally was actually rooting for them from the beginning. I'm not sure why, but I liked them the most. Did anyone else? I know Laura didn't. Like if I were in the house, I think I'd probably become friends with Daniele. As I was watching the people in the jury house ask Dick and Daniele questions, I thought they were rather hostile. I guess I'm happy that they are in the final 2 and none of the other ones are. Yay Dick and Daniele!

So far...

So school has started and my life has made a 180 degree turn. I am now constantly busy. I sit here waiting for the rice to cook as Hailey is sleeping on the couch and needing to finish thumbnails for tomorrow sometime tonight. I am taking 15 credits this semester and it seems like the commitment is 50+ hours a week. Between my studio art class, design 3 class, art history, and prison letters I am barely finding time for myself. Maybe it'll get better once the semester goes on and somehow the homework load will get lighter, but for now, I'm booked! Thankfully next semester I'll only have 8 credits and I'll be able to breathe and then in May I'll graduate!! I am so pumped about that! Plus, my adviser was able to work out a deal where I don't have to take a summer class anymore, I'll be able to go right to my internship--another thing I am SUPER excited about. I really hope I can find a paid internship so we can get a jump start on our financial plans early, but it's really about the experience and I would definitely take an internship that would give me relevant experience over one that simply paid well. I am so ready to take this next step in my life and it seems like it has been a long time coming. Anyhow, the rice is done and Hailey sounds like she is waking up so it is back to reality now. Just thought I'd write a little blip since it had been awhile.

I have a cold. I feel like death.
