bye bye

I'm watching American Idol right now. I so called the 2 people who are leaving last night, by myself. But I really thought Antonella was going home. She wasn't that great I didn't think. But, oh well.

Also, I think my new favorite commercial is the new mac/pc commerical where the "pc" guy has a security guy. What's even funnier is one of the Geek Squad guys pointed out that Vista was kind of irritating for that exact reason. Which made the commerical that much better. Or maybe it's just me. I have a mac and I love it waaaay more than any pc I've ever had. I've had the computer for about a year and a half almost 2 years and it's only crashed on me ONCE!!! My old computer crashed on me pretty much once a day, at least.

I'm tired

So in printmaking, we have to print editions of our copper plates, which means, we have to print many different identical copies (6-8) more specifically. Anyways, normally people sell these edition prints for money...so I was thinking, maybe I can sell some of my prints for money!! That'd be cool, seeing as how I quit Best Buy and all. I will post a picture of what it will look like (digitally rendered in Illustrator) and if you feel so inclined, maybe you can buy it, or if you're really nice, maybe I'll give you one and then it'll be worth MILLIONS when I'm a famous ar-tist. :) Soooo, nevermind, I won't post a picture of it on here, it won't work for whatever reason. I converted it to a JPEG and it just doesn't like it. But if you're my friend on myspace, I'll post it there.

Hailey

Hailey has been sick for the past few days. Two nights ago Hailey was crying a lot and wouldn't stop, so Jordan and I took her into the emergency room (since it was 9 pm on a Saturday and no urgent care clinics were open). We got there and waited, then got "checked in" and then waited to go into a room. Then we get there and talk to a nurse (Hailey is crying pretty much the whole time) and then wait for the doctor. The doctor comes in and checks her out and finds out she has an ear infection...in both ears. Poor kiddo. So now we have to give Hailey amoxicillin three times a day for ten days, which is no easy feat. So I guess my point in posting this is to ask for prayer that not only Hailey's ears would heal, but she would also get over her nasty cold.

Sleepless nights....what? Great, we're regressing

So, my darling little child decided last night that it would be a great idea to go to bed at 5:30pm and then wake up at 11:30, stay up till 12:45, then again wake up at 4:45am which would ultimately be the time we woke up for good, despite my attempts to put her back to sleep. It was a battle that lasted until about 6:45-7am, so between 4:45 and 7 I got 5 mins of sleep every 15-30 mins. I went to bed last night at 10. I got 5 1/2 hours of sleep, about. I am tired. I almost cried this morning because she wouldn't go back to sleep and it was almost painful to have to get out of bed at 5 am every 5 mins. Here's to hoping tonight is better.

Best Buy

So in case you didn't know, I quit Best Buy, I am no longer employed in the technical sense, I instead go to school full-time. I figured I need to put all my efforts in to my school work since I'm doing projects that will be going into my portfolio, which in turn will be what gets me hired or not hired. I really enjoy not having to worry about going to work, I like just doing school work (which takes up a lot of time, these project are pretty intense) and taking care of Hailey and enjoying the family life. So my official last day is the 18th, but I'm not scheduled, so my last day was really two weeks before the 18th. So...I don't work at Best Buy anymore.

I have been contemplating weaning myself off of myspace because it is something that is bitter-sweet for me and can be quite the time waster, but it is still a decent way to keep in touch with some people.
